Dr. Thomas J. Balshi is director of the Institute For Facial Esthetics and a practicing prosthodontist with Prosthodontics Intermedica in Fort Washington, Pennsylvania. A graduate of Temple University in Dentistry and Prosthodontics, he received his surgical and prosthetic implant training from Professor Per Ingvar Brånemark. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontics, a Charter Member and Fellow of the Academy of Osseointegration, a Fellow of the American College of Prosthodontists, and a Fellow of the American Academy of Implant Prosthodontists. He is a member of the International College of Prosthodontists and the American Society of Bone and Mineral Research. He lectures internationally on immediate loading of dental implants, and he has published numerous articles and videos on the subject of Nobel Biocare's Brånemark implants used in the TEETH IN A DAY™ protocol for oral rehabilitation. He is a co-author of the highly acclaimed text entitled A Patient's Guide to Dental Implants, and a recognized authority in computer-guided implant surgery. |
